I seem to remember we spent about a season travelling away in donkey jackets and flat caps.
I have a memory of getting into Ipswich station just after the special had arrived and seeing our lot heading up the road into town. It looked like the bloody Jarrow march.

Check out the Laird Hats website for the version of the difference between Baker Boy, Brooklyn etc. Theirs are £90 a pop but superb quality and if you find the style that suits you you'll look charismatic and dashing, and you'll keep your head warm and dry. Nice.
